This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organisation need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide site supervision on electrical and mechanical maintenance works, major refurbishment, alteration and improvement works on electrical and mechanical facilities
- Monitor contractor's work progress, site safety and work quality
- Provide technical advice on preparing tender documents and drawings for maintenance and improvement works of electrical and mechanical facilities
- Supervise and organise maintenance of electrical and mechanical facilities and ensure they are in compliance with the standard specifications, the Authority's requirements and relevant statutory requirements
- Assist in planning and controlling maintenance and refurbishment budgets
- Collate, trend, analyse and review operation and maintenance records for improvements
- Perform shift duties including overnight shift if required
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate holder in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines with at least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of maintenance and/or construction works. Degree holder with 2 years of relevant working experience will also be considered
- Candidate without the above specified academic qualification but have 10 years of relevant working experience will also be considered
- Solid experience in airport works or maintenance of large scale electrical & mechanical systems under a live operating environment is an advantage
- Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker for HV and/or LV electrical installations is required
- Knowledge of computer networking orCAD software platforms or BIM will be an advantage
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
