(Senior) Manager, Distribution Governance (Life Insurance)

Job Accountabilities

• Drive and enhance distribution governance frameworks, policies, and control standards
• Partner with Life Distribution, Legal, Risk and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions
• Provide governance advisory to support business initiatives and strategic projects
• Promote a customer-centric, compliant sales culture across intermediaries
• Develop dashboards and management reports to monitor distribution quality and risk indicators
• Conduct control testing, quality assurance reviews, and monitor remediation actions
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, and ensure inspection readiness
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strong governance and effective control execution

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance, preferably within distribution governance, compliance or risk management
• Candidate with more experience may be considered as Senior Manager
• Strong understanding of IFA and brokerage distribution models and regulatory expectations
• Experience in control frameworks, conduct risk, or governance functions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• High integrity, strong accountability and sound judgment
• Ability to design and implement governance frameworks, policies, and controls
• Experience in control testing, QA reviews and monitoring programmes
• Strong data analysis, reporting and dashboard development skills
• Capability to interpret regulations and translate into practical business requirements
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory inspections, and issue remediation tracking
