Entegris is seeking an MC Process Manager in Kaohsiung Science Park (KSP), Taiwan who will manage overall process capabilities, cross functional communications, daily operations support and coach direct report process engineers. The candidate will report to Manager, Process Engineering in KSP. The candidate's initial primary focus is:

  • Coach team to meet all requirements such as codes of conduct, company policies, local/global regulations and EHS requirements.
  • Lead team to work closely with other functional teams in an efficient and effective way.
  • Lead team to setup reliable process parameters by using scientific approaches.
  • Lead long term projects to bring benefits to company and share the best practices.
  • For direct report, keep high retention rate, provide growth plan for each individual.
  • Adjust the organization flexibly according to business status and company needs.

In this role you will:

  • Utilize state of the art technologies, complete Verifications & Qualifications (V&Q) in a timely manner.
  • Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) and other teams until mass production, then take over.
  • Responsible for yield up, cost down, capacity up, customer complaint down in process related topics.
  • Oversee engineering data and documents such as standard operating procedure (SOP), work instruction (WI), job safety analysis (JSA), BOM, routing, product change notice (PCN), process failure mode effect analysis (pFMEA), response flow checklist (RFC) and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Provide knowledge to coach engineers for trouble shooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Plan the technology roadmap for the near future.

What are the Position Specific Competencies Define the skills/competencies necessary to do the job. These should tie directly back to the purpose and outcome.

  • Master's degree or above from Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related departments.
  • +10 years working experiences in SEMI or field of clean room is required.
  • Instrument analysis or cleaning related experience is a plus.
  • Must have 23 years experiences for leader of process engineering and focus on process improvement.
  • 6-Sigma green or black belt is highly preferred.
  • Able to discuss details in fluent English with teams from different countries.
  • Need to travel overseas and have international conference calls upon request.
