Store Manager
Our client is an established menswear brand with a strong retail presence in Singapore. They are looking for a Store Manager to lead their flagship outlets, oversee day-to-day operations and the end-to-end in-store experience.
The Role
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets; deploy floor strategies to maximise conversion and basket size.
- Maintain outstanding visual merchandising and product display standards in line with brand guidelines and tenancy requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer needs, and profit margins for company leadership.
- Manage store budget and undertake financial planning to support commercial objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels, oversee receiving, replenishment, cycle counts, and shrinkage control.
- Source, hire, train, and oversee retail associates; conduct annual performance appraisals with clear, actionable feedback.
- Handle customer escalations and service recovery situations professionally and promptly.
- Liaise with mall management and internal stakeholders on promotions, product launches, and operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with store SOPs, cashiering procedures, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention policies.
The Candidate
- 5+ years in fashion retail, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Presentable, well-spoken, and confident, engaging both customers and mall stakeholders.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to team management.
- Proven ability to manage sales targets, team rostering, and store operations independently.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to perform well under pressure.
- An eye for visual merchandising with the ability to execute compelling in-store displays.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with working knowledge of business development and financial planning.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail inventory management.
- Experience in a departmental store environment is a strong advantage.
