AI Engineer (Applied AI, 5+ years)
Hybrid work model through March 2026, ahead of our Taiwan office launch.

Founded in 2024, Norric is a software company building an AI-native platform for private markets. We are headquartered in New York, with an office in Seoul and Taiwan (2026 Opening), we develop products for global institutional clients, including JP Morgan Asset Management and various Sovereign Wealth Funds.
Role
- Design and implement production-grade Applied AI systems
- Develop LLM-based features, including inference pipelines, prompt structures, and response quality control
- Architect document- and text-based data processing and retrieval pipelines
- Design model serving and API architectures integrated with backend systems
- Optimize AI services for real-world deployment, balancing performance, cost, and latency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Applied AI / ML engineering
- 5+ years of Python experience in production environments (required)
- Proven experience deploying and operating ML or LLM models in live services
- Experience designing data preprocessing, inference pipelines, and model evaluation workflows
- Experience operating AI systems or model serving in AWS or GCP environments
- Strong English communication skills preferred (global team collaboration)
Plus (Optional)
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience applying AI in finance, fintech, or enterprise SaaS domains
