Senior Backend Developer (510 Years)
Hybrid work model through March 2026, ahead of our Taiwan office launch.

Founded in 2024, Norric is a software company building an AI-native platform for private markets. We are headquartered in New York, with an office in Seoul and Taiwan (2026 Opening), we develop products for global institutional clients, including JP Morgan Asset Management and various Sovereign Wealth Funds.
Role
- Design and implement production-grade backend architecture
- Develop and operate backend services using Python or Node.js
- Build enterprise-level backend logic including authentication, authorization, and data access control
- Design asynchronous processing systems and large-scale data pipelines
- Define backend code structure and quality standards, and lead code reviews
Qualifications
- 510 years of backend engineering experience
- 5+ years operating production services in either Python or Node.js (one primary language required)
- Hands-on experience designing and operating REST APIs
- Led data modeling using PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience operating services on AWS or GCP, including incident response
- Strong English communication skills preferred (required for collaboration with global teams)
Plus (Optional)
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience applying AI in finance, fintech, or enterprise SaaS domains
