The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Assist the evaluation of financing proposals from financial institutions, including initial screening, due diligence, basic financial analysis and summary report for general banking facility and/or bond issuance.
Assist in coordination of the establishment and annual update of the Medium Term Note (MTN) programme
Assist in tender selection process for treasury and funding service providers
Facilitate review and execution of ISDA Agreements and Schedules with financial institutions
Coordinate periodic sanctions, anti-money laundering and anti-bribery screenings as mandated by financial institutions
Support green/social asset register management and preparation for non-deal and deal roadshows
Assist in preparation of papers and presentation materials for the Finance Committee and Board relating to treasury and funding matters
Perform any ad hoc assignments and tasks as directed by supervisors
Requirements:
Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years relevan t experience in treasury or fundraising in loan and debt capital markets
Understanding of various funding, investment, and risk management instruments
Basic knowledge of loan and debt capital market documentation
Strong analytical capabilities for analysing financing proposals
Good command in spoken and written English and Mandarin
Good communication and presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg etc.
The appointment will be made on a 3-year fixed-term contract, which may be renewable subject to appointee's performance, the Authority's business needs, and other relevant factors.
