Position Summary

Amphenol LTW is seeking a hands-on, innovation-driven R&D Manager to lead the transformation of our engineering organization. This role is ideal for a builder-type leader who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and managing customer co-development projects that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive customer-focused innovation for customized interconnect solutions.

2. Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) from concept to mass production.

3. Participate directly in design, validation, and problem-solving.

4. Collaborate across R&D, Marketing, Product Management, FAEs, QA, Sourcing, and Procurement.

5. Transform R&D processes for speed, scalability, and higher project throughput.

6. Mentor multidisciplinary teams to build cross-functional capability.

7. Ensure designs meet cost, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or related Engineering.

815 years in R&D or product development, with at least 35 years in leadership.

English required; Chinese preferred.

Strong hands-on experience in design, prototyping, and testing.

Familiar with CAD/CAE tools and DFM/NPI methodology.

Background in connectors, cables, or customized industrial products preferred.

Employment Terms

Location: Taiwan or China.

Full visa sponsorship for qualified foreign candidates.

Onsite presence mandatory during the first year.

Probation: 6 months (within the first 12 months).

Remote work considered only after one year of proven results.

If probation not passed (foreigners): contract ends and repatriation applies.
