Role and Responsibility:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Group Leader to head our Cell Therapy Discovery team, focusing on developing novel T cell therapies with emphasis on in vivo approaches. The successful candidate will drive research programs from conceptualization through IND submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery and development of T cell therapies, including CAR-T and TCR-T technologies
- Oversee construct design and optimization for cell therapy applications
- Direct in vitro and in vivo characterization of cell therapy candidates
- Develop expertise in mRNA/LNP or viral vector delivery systems for cell therapies
- Evaluate opportunities and drive external collaboration to enhance the pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance projects through discovery to IND submission
- Manage Cell Therapy Discovery team in executing research programs and set strategic direction for the group aligned with company objectives
Qualifications
- PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related field
- Minimum 8 years of industrial experience specifically in T cell therapy development
- Demonstrated expertise in cellular immunotherapy, particularly CAR-T and TCR-T technologies
- Strong background in construct design and optimization
- Deep knowledge in mRNA/LNP or viral vector delivery systems
- Background in evaluating cell therapies through both in vivo and in vitro methods.
- Experience in cell therapy manufacture is a strong plus
- Track record of successful IND submissions and publications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
