About the Role

MP Singapore is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of high-profile conferences, exhibitions and corporate events. You will work closely with government agencies, international associations, corporate clients, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, delegates and strategic partners to deliver exceptional event experiences from concept through execution.

This role offers the opportunity to manage large-scale projects, collaborate with experienced cross-functional teams, and play a key role in shaping industry-leading events in Singapore and across the region.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of conferences, exhibitions, meetings and business events from project initiation through to post-event completion.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, work plans, deliverables, risk registers and critical milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with client expectations and company standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary project lead and key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, associations, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, partners, suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, provide project updates, manage expectations and deliver proactive solutions.
  • Support client retention by delivering excellent service and identifying opportunities for future collaboration.

Conference & Event Management

Manage all aspects of conference and event delivery

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets.
  • Review quotations, negotiate with vendors and monitor project expenditure.
  • Ensure effective cost control while maintaining project quality and profitability.
  • Manage sponsorship fulfilment and contractual deliverables where applicable.
  • Support project financial reconciliation upon completion.

Vendor & Operations Management

Source, appoint and manage vendors including production, AV, registration, logistics, creative, printing, venue and F&B suppliers.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Professional Conference Organising (PCO), exhibitions, corporate events or large-scale business events.
  • Proven ability to independently manage conferences, exhibitions or B2B events from planning through onsite execution.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Event Management or a related field is an advantage, but candidates with equivalent relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience managing project budgets, vendors, stakeholders and event operations.
  • Familiarity with event management platforms (e.g. GEVME, EventsAir, Cvent) is an advantage.
  • Experience working with government agencies, associations or multinational organisations will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for overseas projects when required.

  • Good project planning, coordination and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners and vendors.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to solve problems effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable using digital workplace tools in day-to-day work.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to leverage them to improve productivity, project management or event delivery will be an advantage.
