Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mandarin OPI/VRI Interpreter. The Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate and effective interpretation services in Mandarin via Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). Daily tasks will include interpreting conversations between clients and customers, ensuring clear communication and understanding, and adhering to interpretation guidelines and protocols. The role also involves maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all interpretations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin and English languages
• Experience in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) is a plus
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Experience in customer service or similar roles is a plus
• Relevant certification in interpretation is beneficial
