Job Description:
The Role:
- Receive new production facilities from Taiwan Campus Project team, and ensure performance of functions as design are delivered
- Be responsible for daily production's 5S, material, order and operation team management after startup
- Make sure seamless implementation of company directions & policies
- Lead production team to achieve production output target daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
In this role you will:
- Report EHS concern & Incident to supervisor immediately
- Report critical quality & production equipment issues to supervisor immediately
- Ensure operators receive well trainings and be able to demonstrate qualified skills on fields
- Perform daily check on the EHS, materials, equipment and teammate for correction when needed
- Scheduling the time frame for monthly production plan and updating it once significant change occurred, inform purchasing & sales teams that change immediately and ensure no delay of finish product shipment.
- Ensure the lasted version of SOPs (production, quality) are placed on floor
- Monitoring finish goods quality performance
- Arrange resources to execute daily production on time, and ensure no unexpected shutdown due to lack of manpower or materials
- Make sure material reporting accuracies & inventory status
- Review team members capability, training & certification program regularly. Evaluate effectiveness of training, and refresh training when needed
- Ensure PPM/SPC program assigned to production are implemented well and on time
- Assisting maintenance department for mandatory calibrations/overhauls of equipment, and back to normal restart up on time as scheduled
- Analyzing data for cycle time including on-stream time loss & off-stream time loss, energy consumption and waste disposal, then develop actions for improvement
- Capex requirement and budget planning for annual operations planning.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- >310-yr production management experiences in plants are preferred
- Experienced production management for new plant or new team on existing plant
- Similar experience on 5S implementation on field
- Well-organized thinking and high standard behavior on safety culture building up and enhancement
- Knowledge to the safety guarding devices for machine and electricity, and engineering solutions for improvement of safety
- Expertise in working on the data analysis, SPC, problem solving, Lean Production or six-sigma
- Ability to read and interpret machine instructions quality procedures, and governmental regulations
- Immense ability to analyze the cycle time record and present planned capacity vs. demand situation by a rolling forecast of view
- BA degree & above of Engineering related
- Being fluent in English for listening, speaking, reading, and writing
- Skillful on MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Knowledge to blow molding/extrusion/injection of operations are preferred

- P - Act as a first-line production team builder to lead daily production activities and complete the tasks safely, on schedule and products quality in spec.
- A - Be a focal point who works with internal Purchasing, Quality and Engineering departments for relevant supports and resources needed management.
- C Leverage advanced technologies and best practices on process flow, maximize materials utilization rate, increase productivity and reduce energy consumption.
- E Dedicate on production taskforce management and work streams implementation to fulfill manufacturing excellence work process.
