Support IT Leadership team to define and execute the overall Portfolio Management and PMO strategy
Maintain and oversee the IT project portfolio, tracking departmental demands, project progress, risks, dependencies, and overall health from departmental perspective. Accountable to the PPM tool implementation and on-going enhancement
Optimize IT resource planning and ongoing normalization to execute application delivery project with no business impacts. Successful implementation of the PPM tool for all IT projects and treat as the single source of truth of all project related data
Proactively work with IT project managers to ensure the defined project management practices are followed. Define the project health assessment criteria and conduct regular project audit to understand IT project performance. Prepare the PMO report / dashboard to IT Leadership team on overall project performance
Implement and optimize PMO frameworks and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid models). As the ultimate owner of the IT project management practices and promotes Agile adoption in the organization. Ensure standardization of project management process & templates
Provide guidance and support to project managers and PMO team as and when required. Maintain the project professional training and ensure colleagues maintain high project management practice
Promote AI and automation enablement in portfolio and PMO function. Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the portfolio and programme management tool to provide data transparency to senior management on the departmental portfolio healthiness, projects performance, risks and opportunities, etc
Requirements:
Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or other related disciplines. Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage
At least 8 years of IT experience in large‑scale, multi‑project environments, of which at least 6 years of hands‑on experience in IT Portfolio Management, PMO transformation, establishment, or governance roles and project/program delivery management with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience working with senior business stakeholders and technology leaders in governance, prioritization, and strategic planning
Proven track record of driving standardization, process optimization, and organizational change across cross‑functional teams
Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent preferred
Agile certifications such as PMI‑ACP, Scrum Master (CSM / PSM), SAFe, or equivalent preferred
Certification or formal training in PMO disciplines is a definite advantage
Experience working with senior business stakeholders and technology leaders in governance, prioritization, and strategic planning
Proven track record of driving standardization, process optimization, and organizational change across cross‑functional teams
Strong understanding of PPM tools (e.g. Planview, Project Online, Jira/Confluence, ServiceNow, SPM), including project management, testing and adoption
