This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 3 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the latest trends of technology, consider the potential opportunities and impact to the overall IT organization planning, resource and technology stacks
- Drive performance transparency across IT projects and initiatives, ensuring that information is visible, risks are surfaced early, and issues can be addressed more effectively. The Portfolio Management function will also play a crucial role in facilitating corporate prioritization, helping us to allocate resources efficiently and focus on the most impactful work
- Drive and refresh the standardization of IT Project Governance practices and tools, including project healthiness check, project management practice and adoption of the latest technology PPM (Programme and Portfolio Management) tool to provide information transparency and management dashboard on project healthiness on timely basis
- Define and execute the overall ODC strategy, including the market research, planning, development and implementation of the ODC. Manage the daily operation of the ODC, provide holistic review of its status/ performance and recommend continuous improvement areas and
- Oversee the Management Services of the IT Department including support departmental activities, including manpower planning, budget planning, procurement and internal audit monitor and control IT budgets to align with corporate directives and ensure IT works comply with corporate procedures, including procurement process, contract management, expenses authorization.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related disciplines with at least 12 years of relevant experience and knowledge to understand business and user's IT requirement, preferably with airport experience and familiar with various stakeholders at Airport
- Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and / or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification is preferable
- Proven experience in portfolio management and PMO operation
- Solid experience in managing large IT system delivery projects will be preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Effective communicator to different levels of stakeholders and can present complex ideas and technical details in layman's terms
- Proven management skills and experience In IT strategy and planning, and drive digital transformation programme
- Experience in working with and leverage technology / solution vendors is important
- Excellent leadership skills with excellent problem solving and negotiation skills with strong business acumen
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
