Our client is a leading real estate company manages a massive portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial properties in Hong Kong.

IT Finance Business Analyst / Consultant (Budget & Consolidation Replacement Project)

To support the delivery of the Budget and Consolidation (BPC) Replacement Project, including requirements gathering, solution design, system implementation, and integration with related enterprise systems, ensuring smooth transition from the existing platform to the new solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate the gathering, documentation, and analysis of business requirements for the Budget and Control Replacement Project
  
  
• Provide subject matter expertise on budgeting, consolidation, and management reporting processes to guide solution design and platform selection
  
  
• Work closely with Finance stakeholders to map current-state processes and define future-state requirements
  
• Support solution design, configuration review, and fit-gap analysis with selected vendor(s)
  
• Support system integration design between the new BPC platform and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., GL, HR, property systems)
  
• Coordinate UAT activities, including test case preparation, data preparation, and user coordination across Finance and business units
  
• Liaise with vendors and internal ITS teams on project deliverables, issues, and change requests
  
• Support data migration, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live validation
  
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including process flows, budget/consolidation logic, and user guides
  
• Drive project coordination tasks including tracking actions, timelines, deliverables, and status updates
  
• Support project governance activities such as steering committee preparation, status reporting, and risk/issue tracking
  
  Requirements:
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  
  
• 7-10 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Consultant, or application support role within enterprise finance systems
  
• Solid understanding of budgeting, financial consolidation, intercompany elimination, and management reporting processes is essential
  
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Budget and Consolidation platforms - experience with SAP BPC, Oracle (e.g., Hyperion / EPM / PBCS / FCCS), or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Power BI-based budgeting solutions) is highly preferred
  
• Good understanding of system integration concepts and end-to-end finance processes (e.g., GL, cost allocation, intercompany)
  
• Proven experience leading UAT coordination and working with vendors on system implementation projects
  
• Familiarity with project management methodology (Waterfall / Agile) and related tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders at all levels
  
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and workstreams in parallel
  
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of deliverables
