Business Applications Management:
Manage the portfolio of business applications (e.g., BI, POS, WMS) used in Taiwan.
Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and identify opportunities for technology-driven process improvements.
Oversee application support, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary IT Business Partner for Shiseido Taiwan, building and nurturing strong relationships with local leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders.
Lead business engagement efforts, proactively identifying and understanding business needs, strategic priorities, and operational challenges.
Own the intake and translation of business requirements into actionable IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with both local objectives and global IT standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to the business, facilitating issue resolution and driving continuous improvement through technology.
Champion the value realization of global and regional IT services by measuring impact, communicating benefits, and ensuring adoption across business units.
Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to represent Taiwan's unique requirements in enterprise-wide projects, ensuring local relevance while adhering to global frameworks.
Drive change management initiatives related to new IT system deployments, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering their professional growth and technical expertise.
Manage resource allocation, performance reviews, and talent development within the IT department.
Budget & Vendor Management:
Develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT products and services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 5-7 years in a IT leadership or management role, preferably within the retail, consumer goods, or beauty industry.
Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure (network, servers, cloud platforms), cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise business applications (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, e-commerce platforms).
Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance principles.
Demonstrated experience in business partnering and successfully leading IT projects involving cross-functional teams and regional/global stakeholders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) are highly desirable.
