Job Description

HRBP is a strategic partner role to the business leadership, aligning HR strategies with Business objectives. The role partners with functional unit/ business leadership to enable organisational effectiveness, drive performance, lead change and ensure people practices support growth, productivity and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand goals, challenges and people implications. Serve as one face to the business
  • Lead or support organisational design, restructuring and change management initiatives to meet business requirements and needs of growth or objectives
  • Drive talent management and development strategies including succession planning, capability building
  • Provide support to Business Leaders in rolling-out employee engagement activities to
  • motivate employees to deliver superior performance in fulfilling organisational requirements effectively
  • Oversee performance management processes, ensure calibration, fairness and clarity
  • Monitor HR metrics and analytics, detect trends / risks ( turnover, morale, engagement and recommend appropriate actions
  • Advise on compensation, rewards, job evaluation, promotions
  • Collaborate with HR People Partnering, HR COEs to deploy solutions
  • Participate in the planning and execution of HR initiatives, such as employee wellness programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and organizational development projects

Key Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Experience

  • Minimally 5 years experience in a Business Partnering function with a local or international workforce
  • Strong commercial / business acumen - able to translate business strategies to people metrics
  • Deep understanding of local labour law, regulations and HR practices
  • Good stakeholder management, influencing, coaching and negotiating skills
  • Good partnership with HR COE to ensure collaboration and execution in line with business needs
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, adapt and drive things forward. Comfortable to work cross functionally and in matrix environment
  • For a senior position; ability to coach and manage team and staff with feedback and performance management
