Job Description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Units to understand workforce needs, align HR policies, practices and strategies to achieve overall company vision and business objectives.
  • Provided end-to-end HR advisory support on employee lifecycle matters such as workforce planning, performance management, talent management, and employee engagements.
  • Handle employee relations issues, ensuring fair treatment, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Coach and guide line managers on people management issues, ensuring alignment with HR policies, employment legislation, and organisational values.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and manage recruitment efforts to attract top-quality candidates with alignment to our organisational values.
  • Support organisational change initiatives such as role redesigns, process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Work in partnership with Centre of Excellence (COE) teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Shared Services, Culture and Engagement, etc.) to provide integrated HR solutions.
  • Analyse data and reports to assess HR trends, identify risks and areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Lead and/or support HR projects, initiatives and functional portfolios to support overall HR workplan.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in a HR-related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years relevant experience from a fast-paced environment, including being in a HRBP role with hands-on experience in employee relations, performance management and organisational change support.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to balance business needs and employee experience.
  • Meticulous and possess a sense of urgency.
  • Strong working knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to partner and influence stakeholders at different levels, including people managers and senior leaders.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a broader HR team.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information.
