Financial Business Partner

Job Summary:

This position is a key communication bridge between our Taiwan subsidiary and the Japanese parent company. Previously held by Japanese expatriates, this role is now transitioning to local talent.

In this position, you will participate in cross-departmental meetings to understand business operations and use your expertise to help us communicate Taiwan's business performance and project logic to the parent company. This is a critical role for professionals who want to showcase their expertise and make an impact in a multinational business environment.

Job Description:

1.     Business Performance Tracking and Analysis

(1) Conduct project profitability assessments and prepare formal Japanese correspondence to the parent company regarding exceptional or high-impact cases.

(2) Perform periodic tracking and variance analysis between pre-project financial projections and actual revenue/profit results.

(3) Conduct periodic audits of commercial terms in signed contracts to identify and report any deviations from the originally approved project profitability assessments.

2.     Facilitate monthly sales meetings, including agenda setting, data consolidation, and tracking the execution progress of all resolved action items.

3.     Oversee distributor performance tracking, eligibility reviews, and contract management-related matters.

4.     Develop and maintain internal management reports to support executive decision-making.

5.     Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Necessary Requirement: JLPT N2

Other Requirement:

1.     Professional Experience

(1) At least 2 years of experience in Business Planning or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

(2) Prior experience in a Japanese company, or a background in studying or working in Japan, is highly preferred.

2.     Technical Skills

(1) Excel: Proficient in advanced formulas and Pivot Tables.

(2) PowerPoint: Demonstrated ability to create professional business presentations and deliver reports to executive management.

(3) Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence (BI) software is a plus.

3.     Core Competencies
