How You'll Make An Impact

  • You will perform installation, commissioning, and configuration of equipment and systems at customer sites and conduct routine preventative maintenance and calibration to maximize equipment uptime and extend lifespan.
  • You will diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, performing repairs and replacing faulty components as needed and provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of Hitachi products.
  • You will document service activities, including detailed reports on repairs, installations, and customer interactions.
  • You will maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools and manage service requests efficiently and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as industry standards. Travel extensively to various customer locations.
  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Required with 2+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or a similar role, preferably within the industrial automation or energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and software systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
