Being a strategic project delivery lead responsible for delivering needle-moving initiatives with the overarching goal to fulfill business transformation enablers supporting business transformation and growth, operation efficiency as well as partner/ customer engagement.
This individual will be responsible for uncovering improvement areas and leading a variety of strategic initiatives across business functions and support Head of Strategic Planning to align Chubb Life Global project governance, not only streamline the local governance, enrich project management templates/samples but also to deliver strategic projects successfully that build the business efficiency and effectiveness.
Leading strategic initiatives that enables Chubb Life's sustainable growth is critical and complex as well as involves stakeholders at all levels from multiple domains. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in strategic problem solving, project planning/management, communication with ability to facilitate conversation across functions and global/ regional office stakeholders and tailor communication by audience across different levels. This person should be committed to delivering quality strategic initiatives and being catalyst of driving strategy into practice.
Responsibilities:
- Support Head of Strategic Planning to ensure the enterprise project governance aligning Chubb Life Global standards that would need to integrate with Global project management governance while aligning with IT/ Finance governance.
- Capture the business needs and operational pain points to help business functions identify improvement and enhancement areas that will ensure quality project delivery via strategic and analytics mindset.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels including global/ regional office to facilitate selected cross-functional deep-dives and/ or any business needs/ gaps issued by senior leadership team or global/ reginal office to form the strategic initiatives.
- Deliver business critical initiatives via contextualizing the objectives / the key problems, particularly those that span multiple domains.
- Turn strategic initiatives into actions and develop project plans with solid project and change management methodology and skills.
- Manage projects ranging from global/ regional office, market insights to digital / non digital projects and ensure the deliverables meet quality standards and expected benefits.
- Act as project delivery lead and be a sounding board to global/ regional office, working-level project teams and/or stakeholders with objectives to resolve inefficiencies and roadblocks with fact-based decision making and execution with agility, and to keep the projects against its strategic goals.
- Foster a positive project team environment and promote collaboration and communication among team members.
- Serve as trustworthy partner to Head of Strategic Planning to support the corporate planning presentations when needed, with the sense of maintaining confidentiality and discretion for the sake of the senior leadership team and /or the company.

Strategic Planning Skills(It's a plus)
Demonstrate ability to turning strategy into practice via MECE approach (mutually exclusive, collectively exhaustive) – identify business operation pain points with recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from global/ regional/ Taiwan office to identify the improvement areas and summarize the business operation pain points with recommendations.
- Interpret the key problems and the opportunities where to improve or enhance to different levels of senior business leadership.
- Build business acumen via immersing self in multi-domains to continue providing insights with strategic view and identify the business capability gaps.
- Experience with building data foundation, AI initiatives, digital and non digital transformation projects, having ability to tap into the innovation in enabling Chubb Life Taiwan's differentiators.
Project Management
Deliver quality project deliverables to ensure those meet strategic long-term goals
- Tailor the implementation approach per nature of projects to drive the delivery efficiency and the effectiveness.
- Develop practical and sophisticated project plans that aligns governance and manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels during implementation phase with active listening skills to identify risks and roadblocks proactively while having a sense of what and when to escalate.
- Facilitate project execution via coordinating with diverse teams, managing multiple workstreams and adhering to tight timelines with ability to resolve conflicts and build team coherence, ensuring the project stays on track.
- Well apply program/ project management methodologies to ensure the quality delivery and act as project management ambassador to broadcast the disciplines in a decentralized PMO operation.
Communication
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Articulate ideas clearly with ability to turn complex problems or data to distill the complexity into clear, comprehensible insights.
- Sharpen and adjust communication content / medium against target audience to ensure the quality communication.
- Exceptional verbal and written English and Mandarin communication skills for facilitating conversation across functions/ countries, leading workshops and senior stakeholder management while building and sustaining relationship.
- Enhance buy-in with persuasive communication that highlights the value and creates the sense of urgency of the recommendations, motivating actions taken via engaging storytelling, impactful visual aids and compelling narratives that can turn a set of recommendations into a convincing actionable plan.
Experiences/ Knowledge Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in program/project management delivery or project management office PMO) preferably in consulting, in the context of project implementation/transformation/change management, experience in building data foundation, digital products and/ or transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in Mandarin and in English.
- Pragmatic problem solving skills with proven experience in applying well-developed problem solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-country/function teams at all levels, experience with senior leadership team is a plus.
- Act as a fast learner to access business needs that span multi-domains with ability to apply strategic problem solving.
- Highly organized, versatile and dedicated to efficient productivity and attention to details.
- Enjoy flexibility and agility that is required in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet tight deadlines and handles simultaneous workstreams. Experience in adopting agile methodology in project management with PSM (Professional Scrum Master) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certified is a plus.
- Experience working as MA in multi-national company or matrix organization, financial service industry preferred, and strategy / transformation / tech consulting is a plus..
- Business management, project/program/ portfolio management or innovation background.
- Strong ownership and passion to being catalyst of driving enterprise change.
