Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Treasury & Risk Management within the Banking domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in business analysis, system analysis, stakeholder management, and treasury product implementations. Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory to support regional stakeholders and business users.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Work closely with business users, product owners, and technology teams to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping for Treasury & Risk initiatives.
• Support end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during treasury product implementation and enhancement projects.
• Prepare functional specifications, business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and test cases.
• Conduct data analysis and validation using SQL.
• Support UAT activities, defect management, and production deployment processes.
• Ensure solutions align with regulatory and banking requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience as a System Analyst.
• Strong Banking domain experience.
• Hands-on experience in Treasury & Risk Management.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and solution delivery.
• Fluent Mandarin communication skills (spoken and written) – mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Treasury product implementation experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Asset & Liability Management (ALM)
• Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
• Liquidity Risk Management
• IFRS9 / Expected Credit Loss (ECL)

Preferred Vendor/Product Experience

Experience with Treasury, Risk, or Asset Liability Management platforms such as:

• Workiva
• Murex
• Fusion Risk (Finastra)
• Fusion Kondor
• Calypso
• Ambit Focus
• Balance Sheet Manager (BSM)
• Other Treasury & Risk Management solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Banking and Treasury certifications will be an added advantage.
