This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 12 months with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Information Technology (ITD) and the 3RS project teams for all matters related to IT applications
- Monitor the implementation and deployment progress of IT applications to ensure alignment with project timelines, operational requirements, and strategic business goals
- Collaborate with the IT Project Manager and Technical Services Leader (TSL) to prioritize on-site installation, application testing, and commissioning activities
- Manage and control budgets for application enhancement and upgrade initiatives under 3RS and 2RS
- Provide regular progress updates to ITD, highlighting key milestones, identifying potential risks, and recommending mitigation strategies
- Conduct routine site inspections to monitor construction progress and the installation of application-related field devices
- Support and supervise IT system migration and integration efforts from the construction phase to operational readiness, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including application configurations, technical specifications, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, and lists of defects or outstanding works to facilitate effective handover and ongoing maintenance
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Minium 6 years of experience in IT project coordination or application management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure and construction projects.
- Solid experience in managing and delivering IT projects, preferably in aviation industry
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Experience on IT system migration and integration projects from the construction stage to the operation stage
- Concrete business knowledge and technical knowhow to understand various airport systems and aviation industry
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese and
- Preferably with ITIL and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications
