Assistant Manager, IT

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of new application infrastructure initiatives that enable HKIA to embrace continuous digital transformation and evolve into a data-driven enterprise

• Lead and manage internal development teams and external contractors to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality services and solutions

• Maintain and support application infrastructure platforms, including enterprise integration and container platforms. Adapt new technologies to meet delivery team requirements

• Continuously monitor platform performance to identify areas of improvement. Plan and manage activities such as security patches, platform upgrades, capacity planning, and resilience drills

• Establish and maintain standards and procedures for managing responsible platforms

• Provide second-line support to responsible platforms

Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering / Statistics or related disciplines
• Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• A minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in which at least 3 years experience in IT planning, design, development and system implementation management in sizable companies
• Experience in aviation / airport applications is preferred
• Solid experience in enterprise application integration and event driven architecture
• Solid knowledge and experience in container platforms
• Business domain knowledge in aviation industry is an advantage

• Mature, self-motivated, customer-oriented with excellent communication and project management skill

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
