The role will provide end-to-end case management to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) with bank partners are consistently met. Manage the full case lifecycle-from case submission through PRU underwriting assessment to policy issuance-supporting the achievement of business objectives.

Act as a key support to our partnership bank frontlines by providing pre-case consultation, case discussion, and negotiation with PRU internal stakeholders (e.g. HNW, Underwriting, ERM). Deliver ongoing training and advisory support to enhance frontline underwriting knowledge, increase straight-through processing, and accelerate approval turnaround times.

Job Responsibilities

1. Case Liaison & Underwriting Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison between frontline teams, BDMs, and internal stakeholders (including Underwriting and ERM) on all underwriting-related matters. This includes managing enquiries for NB pending cases, manage & follow up the underwriting requirements with frontlines and case status updates to ensure smooth and timely case inception. Support frontline teams in handling complex cases by facilitating discussions and proposing alternative solutions where appropriate.

2. Pre-case Support & Priority Management
Consolidate and manage the month end must-issue priority case list during month-end periods and provide proactive pre-case support to ensure timely progression and issuance.

3. Training & Capability Uplift
Support senior team members in the preparation of training materials and contribute to frontline capability building initiatives aimed at strengthening underwriting knowledge and case quality.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Process Management
Work closely with internal departments including, but not limited to, Underwriting (UW), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)to ensure smooth end-to-end process flow. Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned. Manage and oversee the full portfolio of cases requiring premium financing to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance.

5. Special Quotation (SQ) Case Oversight
Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and coordination for Special Quotation for extra customer offer to ensure compliance, efficiency, and timely completion.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in any discipline with basic underwriting certification / knowledge

  • At least 2 years of experience in underwriting or case management and 5 years of working experience in the Insurance fieldin Sales

  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills

  • Good knowledge in underwriting: H&P and life products. Experience of handling HNW / MCH clients is an advantage.
