This role will collaborate with SCB sales management team to plan and drive the APE sales and other sales/quality KPIs of the overall Bancassurance Sales (all RMs and ISs) in order to achieve key financial target of his/her assigned region/branches, and establish good and influencing relationship with Bank's sales management team (RH, ISTM, BM, RM, IS) to ensure the delivery of sales productivity and balanced product mix.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and work closely with SCB ISTM and sales management, to plan and develop the sales strategy for SCB Bancassurance sales to achieve or exceed annual sales target of his/her assigned region/branches whilst conforming to company and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct customized field coaching or workshops to SCB sales staff (RM, IS) on areas including but not limited to selling techniques, underwriting sharing, objection handling, product features and prospecting etc, to support them in achieving insurance sales objectives.

  • As a focal point to handle PRU policy related enquires from bank frontlines and facilitate after sales services through liaison with internal colleagues.

  • Participate in pre-sales case study and discussion with SCB sales staff to plan for an effective deal closure, in particular H&P, mega and complicated cases.

  • Analysis sales performance of his/her assigned region/branches and provide strategic recommendation to management in business and initiatives planning.

  • Establish good, influencing and trustworthy relationship with SCB sales management and sales staff and internal stakeholders.

  • Follow up and facilitate after-sales policy issuance through liaison and discussion on resolving underwriting enquiries or requirements with SCB sales staff and PRU underwriters

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder or equivalent

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in insurance or banking industry in sales field with at least 2 years as sales management role

  • Strong drive and influencing skills

  • Team player, passionate and independent in driving and handling counterparts

  • Strong communication, presentation and problem solving skills

  • Good in excel

  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
