We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. Our business has continued to grow exponentially, and we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d) to support the company's financial operations.

Accounts Payable Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company by ensuring accurate and timely recording, analysis, and reporting of financial data, the accountant will perform a wide range of day-to-day financial transactions, from fixed payments, variable expense payments, bank and other reconciliation and customer payments.

What you'll do

1. Accounts Payable & Payment Processing

Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure proper approval and documentation.

Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.

Prepare vendor payments (checks, wires, etc.) in accordance with company policy and schedule.

Review and process employee expense reimbursements in compliance with company policy.

Maintain vendor master data and handle supplier inquiries professionally.

2. Financial Closing, Compliance & Controls

Participate in month-end and year-end closing, including AP reconciliation and accruals.

Assist in tax preparation and filing.

Support internal and external audit requests.

Maintain proper filing and record keeping of all AP-related documents.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & General Support

Collaborate closely with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth transaction flow.

Support other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 12 years of practical experience in an accounting role.
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on experience with ERP is a must (SAP preferred).
• Intermediate MS Excel skills including Vlookups, SumIf and pivot tables.
• Analytical: Possesses a data driven and quantitative mindset. Demonstrated ability to focus on key issues, research, gather and integrate information from a variety of sources and consider/recommend reasonable alternatives.
• Detail Oriented: Attention to detail, as demonstrated by regularly verifying all work thoroughly to ensure accuracy, and ability to recall specific facts quality and efficiently.
• Intercultural and Interprofessional: Ability to mediate between teams of different cultural (e.g. Taiwan and subsidiaries) and professional (e.g. IT and finance) backgrounds.
• Proactive: Identifies and solves problems independently.
• Language: Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
