Your Job

As a Business Development Specialist at Molex, your primary role is to support the sales team and strategic customers within the Hyperscale Datacenter and Enterprise Cloud computing market in Taiwan. You will manage various internal sales support activities and maintain communication with both internal teams and external customers. Your efforts will be vital in coordinating pricing, New Product Introductions (NPI), reporting, and customer interactions to help drive business success.

You will be part of a highly visible and dynamic team that collaborates closely with Worldwide Account Managers, sales teams (OEM and ODM), product divisions, environmental and quality teams to deliver innovative solutions. What You Will Do

  • Respond to pricing inquiries and activities from internal personnel and external customers, maintaining and updating the contract pricing database while communicating changes to the appropriate sales and customer service teams.
  • Manage and support quarterly RFQs, ensuring timely pricing uploads in the pricing system.
  • Support NPI activities including pricing, sample management, and forecasting to ensure smooth new program ramp-ups.
  • Maintain and support the Salesforce (CRM) system by creating and analyzing reports for management review, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting internal users with system-related questions.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports covering revenue, margin, delivery, quality, and other key metrics.
  • Expedite customer requests related to special pricing, forecasts, deliveries, and collateral, while keeping the Worldwide Account Manager informed of significant customer activities.
  • Support communication with customers regarding Product Change and Obsolescence Notices (PCN).
  • Assist the Worldwide Account Manager in global budget planning and business plan development.
  • Coordinate customer product qualification and environmental documentation requests by collaborating with internal teams to collect and submit required information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong sales operational and organizational skills with the ability to manage customer support needs effectively.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to build rapport internally and externally.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)


  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with a positive can-do attitude and sense of urgency.
  • Strong SAP and BW analytical skills.
  • Experience working directly with customers, including occasional travel for visits.
  • Prior experience supporting pricing, forecasting, and new product introduction activities in a high-tech or cloud computing environment.
