Job Description: You will mainly provide service regarding automation machines / DSM. Installation, setup, on-site testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Your main role is to: 1. Installation and Commissioning - Install Equipment: Supervise or execute the physical installation of new automated machinery, robots, or integrated production lines at the customer's site. - System Setup: Configure and commission the automation machines. - Testing and Validation: Perform on-site testing to ensure the machine meets performance and quality specifications before handover. 2. Maintenance and Repair - Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic malfunctions in automation equipment. - Emergency Repair: Respond promptly to system breakdowns and service calls, often requiring travel to remote customer locations. - Component Replacement: Replace or repair faulty components such as servo motors, drives, controllers, wiring harnesses, and robotic end-effectors. - Preventative Maintenance : Provide PM services, including calibration, lubrication, alignment, and wear inspection, to maximize machine uptime and lifespan. 3. Technical Support and Training - Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and advice to the customer's maintenance and operator personnel. - Training: Conduct formal and informal training sessions for customers on equipment operation, safety procedures, and first-line maintenance tasks. - Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and spare parts consumption records. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or Control Engineering. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in customer-facing technical roles. - Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial machinery. - Experience with switching power supplies and related components is a plus. - Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken. - Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems circuits, control panels, and sensor technology. - Robotics/Motion Control: Experience with industrial robots, or advanced motion control systems (servos and stepping motors). - Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to read mechanical blueprints, perform precision adjustments, and work with tools for mechanical repair. - Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills under pressure. - Soft Skills: Strong communication (English, Chinese, customer service, and time management skills, often requiring significant travel (field service).
