Job Description

Help shape the future:You are responsible for the mechanical design, process development, industrialization for Bosch eBike Systems Connected Devices, which are display units, remote units, sensor modules and more for eBikes
Reliable implementation:You coordinate the assembly process and joining technologies development with internal and external partners
Think holistically:You are responsible for the requirement analysis and you make sure that the product design fulfills the process needs
Conscientiously agree:You approve manufacturing processes and mechanical components
Structured observation:You are responsible for conducting design reviews and ensuring development goals
Take responsibility:You define the process technology roadmap to make our products smaller
Helping to s hape the future:You shape the urban and sportive mobility of the next decade

Qualifications

Personality: reliable, team player and assertive
Experience and know-how:
- more than 8 years of experience in the mechanical design and process development of metal and plastic parts
- strong industrial know-how of mechanical processes, machines and technologies (e.g. injection, welding, gluing, taping, automated assembly)
- proven mechanical design experience and know how
- Experience in the management of development and manufacturing partners
- Knowledge in consumer electronics outdoor products or display/ECU/IoT products will be preferred
Enthusiasm: Willingness to travel and intercultural competence
Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin German is of advantage
Education: Completed university degree (Bachelor or Master degree) in Materials / Mechanical / Electrical or Process Engineering
