Vice President, Commodity Structured Finance

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Vice President, Commodity Structured Finance to join its Singapore team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth of the Commodity Structured Finance (CSF) business across Asia-Pacific, working on structured financing solutions for commodity producers, traders, and corporates.

You will play a key role in the origination, structuring, execution, and ongoing monitoring of transactions, while partnering closely with clients, Coverage Teams, Credit, Legal, and Operations to deliver tailored financing solutions and maintain a high-quality portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the growth and development of the Commodity Structured Finance business across the region.

• Assist in originating and promoting structured finance solutions in collaboration with Coverage Teams.

• Structure and execute CSF transactions, including:

• Pre-export finance

  Prepayment finance

  Inventory financing

  TradeCo-enabled financing solutions

• Prepare credit applications, perform financial and credit analysis, and support internal approval processes.

• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution and timely deal closure.

• Monitor portfolio performance, prepare periodic credit reports, and manage credit-related developments.

• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders across the bank.

• Support business planning, reporting, and other strategic initiatives while maintaining strong risk and governance standards.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Structured Finance, Commodity Finance, Trade Finance, or Relationship Management within Corporate & Investment Banking.

• Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills.

• Experience preparing credit applications and supporting transaction execution.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
