The Utility Process Lead is responsible for building technical expertise and maintaining strong process control within the B&U cell. The role ensures safe, stable, and efficient operations by applying IWS/RTT methods to reduce losses, standardize processes, and improve energy and resource efficiency.
As the Utility Process Lead, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and maintain process standards for building and utility systems to ensure stable operations. Analyze performance data, manage costs, and support KPIs related to reliability, efficiency, safety, and service.
- Apply IWS methodology to improve efficiency, safety, and quality within utility processes. Manage daily systems, identify recurring losses, and support root cause analysis and solutions.
- Create and maintain clear process standards, training materials, and visual controls. Coach teams to follow standards and improve their process knowledge and discipline.
- Work closely with different teams such as Cell Lead, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, and CI. Support initiatives focused on energy optimization, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage daily line systems like centerline, changeover, and change management. Build team capability in process control and use data analysis to improve performance.
- Lead problem-solving activities for utility systems using standard methods and data tools. Ensure consistent system performance and support production needs on time.
- Follow and enforce health and safety standards to maintain a safe workplace. Report risks, incidents, and unsafe conditions while supporting continuous safety improvements.
- Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned by the manager. Provide support as needed to meet operational goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing environments, with exposure to production and utility systems (FMCG experience is a plus).
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, with the ability to identify trends and drive improvements in safety, quality, energy, and productivity.
- Hands-on experience with utilities, facility systems, and maintenance tools such as SAP, IWS/TPM, Power BI, and Microsoft applications (dashboard experience is an advantage).
- Good communication skills in Chinese (written and verbal); English proficiency is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and leadership abilities, with experience in coaching, influencing others, and a proactive mindset in driving solutions and continuous improvement.
