The Role

We're looking for a Trip Product Management Executive to help build and refine Sotravel's next generation of group trips.

This role goes beyond researching destinations. You will help turn insights, trends, and community signals into real, bookable trip products working across the full lifecycle from early-stage research to itinerary design, vendor sourcing, and post-trip iteration.

You'll collaborate closely with product, operations, and marketing to ensure every trip is exciting, relevant to our community, and operationally viable.

What You'll Work OnStrategic Destination & Trip Research
  • Research new destinations, routes, activities, and seasonal travel opportunities across Asia and beyond.
  • Analyse target audience travel behaviours (Gen Z & Millennials, first-time group travellers vs repeat travellers).
  • Identify experiences that are distinctive, community-friendly, and suitable for group travel.
  • Benchmark competitor trips to identify gaps, overused formats, and differentiation opportunities.

Outcome: A validated pipeline of trip ideas grounded in audience demand, not guesswork.

Data-Informed Trip Ideation & Validation
  • Use demand signals to evaluate trip popularity and potential:
  • Data points include:
  • Social media virality (saves, comments, shares, trends)
  • Community feedback, polls, and voting mechanisms
  • Waitlists and qualitative insights from past trips
  • Propose trip concepts with a clear target audience, hook, and rationale.
  • Iterate ideas based on real signals, not personal preference alone.

Outcome: Trip concepts that our community is genuinely excited to book.

Trip Design & Itinerary Development

  • Draft and refine itineraries with clear pacing, highlights, and flow.
  • Work with operations to validate feasibility, logistics, and constraints.
  • Define inclusions, exclusions, and customer expectations clearly.
  • Write trip content for website listings, internal handover documents, and marketing use.

Outcome: Clear, confidence-building itineraries that customers understand and trust.

Vendor Sourcing & Feasibility Support

  • Research and shortlist DMCs, guides, and local vendors.
  • Collect quotes, service details, and operational constraints.
  • Compare vendors across price, quality, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Maintain clear documentation for ops and trip leaders.

Outcome: Product designs grounded in real-world vendor capabilities.

Quality Review & Post-Trip Iteration

  • Review customer and trip leader feedback after trips.
  • Identify what worked, what caused friction, and what needs improvement.
  • Propose concrete itinerary and documentation updates.
  • Keep trip records, SOPs, and vendor notes up to date.

Outcome: Trips that improve with every run.

What Will Make You Stand Out

You'll stand out if you:

  • Have an insatiable appetite for discovering new places, activities, and travel ideas.
  • Actively research travel trends across Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and communities not just consume them.
  • Think in terms of Would our community actually book this rather than personal taste.
  • Use data and signals (engagement, feedback, polls) to back trip ideas.
  • Enjoy turning raw inspiration into structured, bookable experiences.

Who This Role Is For

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Love immersive, experience-led travel and community-driven products.
  • Are research-driven but grounded in practicality and feasibility.
  • Are detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple ideas.
  • Communicate clearly and are comfortable speaking to vendors or partners.
  • Take ownership and follow things through.
  • Are professionally fluent in English (Mandarin Chinese is a bonus).

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible, remote-first work arrangements
  • Sotravel Trip Benefits: Up to 2 FREE Sotravel trips per year (up to S$3,000)
  • 21 days of personal leave

Why Join Sotravel

  • Build real trip products used by thousands of travellers.
  • Learn how travel products are designed, validated, and launched end-to-end.
  • High ownership, steep learning curve, and real impact.
  • Work with a passionate team of builders and travel obsessives across Asia.
