| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform administrative duties in respect of one or more of the following areas: |
| (i) | general administration and facilities management |
| (ii) | planning and organising events |
| (iii) | project administration and coordination |
| (iv) | finance and supplies matters and |
| (v) | human resources management |
| (b) | To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical / supporting staff to ensure the smooth operation and administration of the operational unit |
| (c) | To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings |
| (d) | To implement the quality policy of the operational unit and |
| (e) | To assist in coordinating projects and events, and the publicity matters of the operational unit. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A recognised degree, or equivalent |
| (b) | At least 2 years relevant work experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations |
| (c) | Self-initiated, willing to meet challenges and able to work independently |
| (d) | Good communication, interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills |
| (e) | Good problem solving and time management skills and |
(f)
| Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. |
| Notes: |
| (1) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (2) | Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment. |
| (3) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours. |
| (4) | Appointee(s) may be posted to other working locations to meet the Council's operational needs. |
