| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials at different study levels, ranging from Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE), Diploma of Foundation Studies (DFS) and Higher Diploma (HD) |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A recognised degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or Psychology, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years teaching and/or industry experience related to community services / social care / elderly services at different study levels, preferably with some experience working with Vocational Education (DVE) students |
| (c) | With experience in collaborating across departments to develop interdisciplinary student projects |
| (d) | Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese preferably including Putonghua and |
| (e) | Strong commitment to serve the youth and with experience in managing less academically-inclined students. |
