Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven
Tender Research Analyst to support our expansion in Taiwan's public and private healthcare sectors. This role is responsible for identifying, tracking, and analyzing tender opportunities for medical consumables (e.g., syringes, needles, infusion products), ensuring the company is strategically positioned to win high-value contracts.
You will act as the intelligence engine behind the tendering process—translating raw market data into actionable bidding strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Intelligence & Market Research
- Monitor Taiwanese tender portals, hospital procurement systems, and government platforms for upcoming opportunities
- Identify and qualify tenders relevant to product portfolio (syringes, needles, etc.)
- Analyze historical tender data, pricing benchmarks, and competitor positioning
- Track procurement cycles across major hospital groups and government agencies
Opportunity Assessment
- Evaluate tender requirements, technical specifications, and compliance criteria
- Conduct feasibility analysis (pricing, margins, regulatory alignment)
- Flag risks, barriers to entry, and localization requirements
Competitive & Pricing Analysis
- Map key competitors and distributors in Taiwan
- Analyze bid-winning patterns, pricing strategies, and volume thresholds
- Support pricing models aligned with market expectations and profitability targets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, Marketing , regulatory, and product teams to align tender strategy
- Provide structured briefings and reports ahead of bid submissions
- Support localization of documentation and compliance materials
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain a centralized tender database and pipeline tracker
- Produce weekly/monthly reports on tender pipeline, win/loss analysis, and market trends
- Develop dashboards for leadership visibility
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in tender research, procurement analysis, or healthcare market intelligence
- Strong understanding of Taiwan's healthcare procurement landscape
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
- Advanced Excel / data analysis skills
Preferred
- Experience in medical devices or healthcare consumables
- Familiarity with Taiwan tender platforms and hospital systems
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., TFDA requirements)
- Experience supporting bid or tender submissions
