Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

1) Server Deployment & Operations

  • Plan and build server and NAS environments perform backend integration and access control to optimize resource utilization.
  • Own endtoend provisioning, configuration hardening, patching, monitoring, and capacity planning for server and storage systems.
  • Configure and maintain DHCP and internal network services to ensure high availability and uninterrupted connectivity.

2) Validation & Troubleshooting

  • Execute functional and stability validation for server products develop test scripts and analyze anomalies to assure product reliability.
  • Perform rootcause analysis and debugging across hardware, firmware, OS, and network layers drive permanent fixes and preventive actions.
  • Participate in incident/postmortem reviews (e.g., component faults, disk/array issues), reconstruct timelines, identify gaps, and close with action owners.

3) System Integration & Automation

  • Develop automation (e.g., Python) for provisioning, testing, health checks, log parsing, and reporting to increase efficiency and reduce human error.
  • Integrate backend services and production systems to support operational automation.

4) CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Partner with R&D, manufacturing/operations, and customer teams to analyze issues, clarify requirements, and deliver technical briefings.
  • Support site deployments, coordinate feature rollouts, track change requests, and assist in system acceptance and handoff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Operating Systems: Handson Linux deployment, hardening, and performance tuning experience.
  • Infrastructure: Proven experience with server/NAS setup and administration storage basics (RAID, SMART, monitoring).
  • Networking: Practical skills in DHCP configuration, LAN architecture, troubleshooting (VLANs, routing basics, DNS/DHCP).
  • Automation/Scripting: Proficiency in Python (or equivalent) for test automation and operational tooling ability to produce readable, maintainable scripts.
  • Problem Solving: Strong debugging and RCA capabilities across HW/FW/OS/Network structured documentation and followthrough.
  • Collaboration: Clear written and verbal communication able to prepare slides/dashboards and present technical findings to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English.
