About the job:
- Actively engage in client communications, manage projects, and drive the delivery and business development of core banking system projects.
- Manage several projects under one or more accounts, including mentoring teams of consultants.
- Oversee the implementation and quality control of projects with regard to both budget, timeline and quality delivery.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well-formulated solutions.
- Lead the project members, including business analysts, experts in PMO, and software engineers.
- Report to the program manager, account managers or country head.
Job Requirements
About you:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance or engineering (STEM).
- At least 6 years of experience in banking and large-scale system implementation project management, with solid knowledge of banking operations and financial products.
- Experience in private banking processes and products is a plus, along with proficiency in understanding private banking solutions both functionally and technically.
- Led end-to-end large financial system transformation projects, applying technology principles to business.
- Practical knowledge of SQL and object-oriented programming, with strong database systems and SDLC skills.
- Highly analytical and structured in problem-solving; adept at understanding complex situations quickly.
- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and strong team leadership skills, with extensive experience managing people, including clients and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a project manager in financial system integration companies is highly preferred.
- Experience at a financial organization that uses private banking or wealth management products.
- Excellent Mandarin/English spoken and written skills.
