As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Pixel Voice of the User (VoU) team provides real world feedback from users on New Hardware or New Software Experiences.

In this role, you will lead global, multi-disciplinary projects on fixed schedules with big launches each year at the Made by Google event. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the team's strategy, present to executive stakeholders, and lead a team by providing mentorship, professional development, and coaching.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of dogfood programs, including the design, tracking, and coordination of the team's projects, while also overseeing all operational logistics such as hardware distribution and returns.
  • Provide technical judgment on areas impacting users and program goals, including build strategies, feature readiness, bug triage, and the development of new tools or data dashboards.
  • Manage all communications with executive and cross-functional leaders, and oversee the team's community engagement strategy, including user recruitment, marketing, and direct engagement.
