Rocoto is seeking a high-caliber
Technical Production Supervisor to serve as the vital link between our Global Headquarters and our manufacturing facility in Taiwan. This isn't just a floor management role; we need a technical expert who understands the DNA of our hardware and can ensure that every unit rolling off the line meets our exacting standards.
You will be our boots on the ground, responsible for bridging the gap between design intent and physical execution. If you have a deep background in electronics and the leadership grit to keep a factory on schedule without sacrificing quality, we want to talk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Supervision: Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure targets are met on time. Manage floor workflows and troubleshoot bottlenecks in real-time.
- Technical Oversight: Perform high-level technical activities, including PCBA debugging, firmware validation coordination, and hardware failure analysis.
- HQ Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for HQ. Provide regular reporting on production yield, KPIs, and project milestones.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous QA/QC protocols. Identify recurring hardware defects and work with engineering to implement permanent fixes.
- Schedule Management: Align local production schedules with global demand forecasts. Ensure long-lead components and assembly phases are synchronized.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate factory processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product reliability.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. You must be able to read schematics, use high-level testing equipment, and understand complex hardware architectures.
- Experience: 5+ years in a technical manufacturing environment, preferably in RF consumer electronics products or high-precision hardware.
- Advantage: Knowledge with Electronics production QC, SMT, DIP, NPI
- Communication: Fluency in Mandarin (for factory floor management) and English (for HQ reporting and technical documentation).
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to use data to drive production decisions and solve complex technical hurdles.
- Leadership: Experience managing teams in a fast-paced factory setting with a focus on accountability and precision.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate sync calls with HQ time zones when necessary.
