Job Description

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world's largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Comprehend / Digest technical or technology-related collaterals / information to produce insightful and effective marketing messages for technical audience (mainly customers and technical community of the semiconductor industry).

2. Write and contribute to marketing materials (collaterals such as PowerPoint slides, infographics, videos, scripts, articles, blogs) and promotional copy to support a variety of speech, communication, and technical marketing efforts; not excluding pitch to gain buy-in from internal approvers.

3. Work with Executives, Brand Management, and Business Development and/or stakeholders on presentations and implement communication plans while considering the many target audiences of the communication efforts.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing ,communications or other relevant majors.

2. Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing communications or technical marketing writing.

3. Excellent communications skills, including exceptional command of written language that reflects understanding of a variety of target audiences.

4. Strong editing skills and ability to revise and improve texts.

5. Computer and Internet savvy; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

6. Background in high tech industry or semiconductor industry is a plus.

7. Native/fluent writers of both English and Traditional Chinese.
