About the role:

The Engineering Operations lead must have an overall picture on the development of IFM engineering. He/she should be self-motivated and open-minded for changes. As a team player, he/she must have a good balance of work with different functions.

  • To provide comprehensive engineering management support for Taiwan accounts.
  • Oversee the engineering compliance with focus on critical engineering facilities, such as semi-conductor/manufacturing.
  • Work closely with account management, sales and transition teams to facilitate business growth and provide engineering SME support in RFP.
  • Drive continuous improvement for whole Taiwan M&E system liability and stability, with focus on systematic problem analysis and solving.
  • Take critical role to lead engineering knowledge enhancement in Taiwan, including training materials development and training delivery, good practice and lesson-learn sharing.
  • Build up and manage JLL Engineering Operations community to facilitate Taiwan business development and BAU support.

What this job involves:

Incident & Risk Management

  • Support account team for incident reporting and investigation in CMO. Provide emergency response to high severity engineering incident when required.
  • Develop incident case sharing/lesson learn
  • Facilitate and supervise accounts for risk registration
  • Plan regular visit for critical sites to identify potential risks or statutory non-conformance

Solution Development (SD) & Transition Support

  • With expertise on semi-conductor facilities management, support SD for RFI/RFP from engineering perspective, including equipment list review, PPM design, cost model development for hard service, etc.
  • Support SD/transition to carry out due diligence across Taiwan

JLL Internal Audit Management

  • Take SME role for JLL internal audit program (JCAP) and conduct audits assigned by global team
  • Support account teams to complete improvement actions from audit if need
  • Launch best practice sharing/playbook

EO (Engineering Operations) Community Activities

  • Organize monthly community meeting
  • Fully utilize community SMEs expertise for engineering knowledge sharing

Annual EO Event Support

  • Support Annual CEM month or global engineering week activities
  • Support other engineering projects/initiatives launched by global/APAC EO

Ad hoc Operations Support

  • Support operations for consultancy services if necessary
  • Support operations to identify systemic risks and problems and provide expert's suggestion/advice

Staff M&E Training

  • Develop annual engineering training calendar
  • Lead or facilitate engineering related trainings to all on site staff

Other Engineering Supports

  • Provide Q&A support for account team with regards to engineering rules & regulations, engineering advices, etc.
  • Other ad hoc engineering works assigned by North Asia EO Head

Sound like you To apply you will have:

  • Degree qualified electrical or mechanical engineer as a minimum, Masters preferred
  • Certified electrical & mechanical engineer (level 2) is preferred
  • Over 8 years practical experience in facility engineering management of semi-conductor industry
  • Logic thinking and good presentation skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility & result-driven
  • Multi-tasks management skill is a must
  • Ability to think laterally and deliver innovative solutions
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good at Microsoft office, eg. Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above is a preference (not must)
