Responsibilities
- Performed all aspects of database administration including installs, builds, upgrades, object sizing, object creation, users, backup/recovery, patches, monitoring, export/imports, and SQL loader.
- Perform Oracle Database and Application server administration. Some DBA experience with SQL Database.
- Participate in implementing new projects, performance tuning, and recommending solutions to enhance performance. Hands on experience in implementing business continuity or disaster recovery plan/portfolio.
Qualifications
- Must be experienced using Oracle 12c and above Data Guard; Implement Installation/Configuration of Data Guard Broker and testing all Failover scenarios.
- Oracle Certification (OCP DBA) is required.
- Experience of Oracle 12c and above Database Administration on Unix, Linux and Windows distributed Platform.
- Experience in a large Oracle database environment.
- Prior SAP experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle DB administration.
