Our client is an established global financial services platform is seeking a senior leader to join its fund services business. This is a high-impact role supporting a strategic hedge fund client while overseeing a team of professionals across client service and operational functions.
The position is suited for an experienced fund accounting or fund operations professional who enjoys client-facing responsibilities and is looking to leverage deep technical expertise in a relationship management capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior point of contact for a key institutional client and a portfolio of strategic fund relationships.
- Build trusted partnerships with investment managers, fund executives, and other stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of client service professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee complex fund accounting, operational, and reporting matters across multiple fund structures and strategies.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams across fund accounting, operations, compliance, and investor services.
- Drive resolution of escalated issues and ensure timely delivery of client commitments.
- Monitor service standards, operational risks, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing client experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Approximately 15+ years of experience within fund administration, fund accounting, hedge funds, alternative investments, or related financial services environments.
- Strong technical understanding of fund accounting and fund operations processes.
- Experience working with alternative investment strategies such as hedge funds, multi-strategy funds, private credit, or other complex fund structures.
- Proven track record managing institutional client relationships and handling senior stakeholder interactions.
- Prior team management experience with the ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
