What To Expect
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for Flexible Printed Circuits to drive cutting edge technologies across all our vehicles and special projects that are highly innovative and fast paced. This position will focus on leading one of the most strategic categories and include managing a Global supply base, developing and owning supplier and partner relationships, defining the category and supply base strategy, management and negotiation of Supply Agreements and related contractual execution activities. An ideal candidate will have high ambition to grow within Tesla and bring high energy/impact to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through collection of facts & data, advanced planning, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, thought-through strategy, and superior communications to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities.

What You'll Do

  • Cover all areas of FPC component management including supply and demand management, open PO management between Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, lead time analysis, and E&O risks
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to supply and demand management, quality control, capacity calculations, and lead time analysis
  • Participate in DFM reviews, change control meetings, and other technical discussions with Engineering and SIE partners and drive decisions from a cost and supply perspective
  • Understand technical drawings and specifications of FPC's and manufacturing process tradeoffs

  • What You'll Bring


  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business Development, Strategic Deals
  • Experience and knowledge in Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC) and associated component and assembly technologies
  • Strong understanding of printed circuit board manufacturing processes, to include extensive experience on manufacturing lines
  • Experience building relationships with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional partners and drive discussions around optimization of technical specifications, and features vs. value trade-offs
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
