This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organisation need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing Asphalt Resurfacing of Taxiways (Phase 3) and Resurfacing of Asphalt Pavement on Landside Roads
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to manage the works and ensure that they are conducted in a safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations
- Perform daily site inspection, workmanship monitoring, quality control, testing and commissioning for the works
- Assist in budget and expenditure control of the works
- Review and comment on contractors submissions including method statement, works programme, etc
- Perform shift duties if required
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 4 years relevant working experience in supervision of civil construction works. Degree holder with 2 years relevant working experience will also be considered
- Candidates without the above specified academic qualification but have 10 years relevant working experience will also be considered
- Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
