General Summary
The interns joining IPS team would be involved in the platforms such as Mobile, Compute, Modem which are the main scopes Qualcomm is capable of.
I would be the manager during this summer period and will assign mentor by the time.

2026 summer intern class!
Role Overview
As an Internal Platforms and Solutions intern, you will help define requirements for high-speed board level designs and ASIC interfaces, learn how to streamline and validate signal/power integrity modeling including simulation methodologies, and help design a circuit card that will be used in our wireless development platforms. You will be exposed to engineering disciplines ranging from digital board designers, IC designers, signal integrity engineers, and reference platform design teams. You will work with these people on board level implementations, signal and power integrity issues, and ASIC-side pinout and board level requirements.
Minimum Qualification
- Currently enrolled in a BS, MS degree program in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Must be available for 3 months during Summer 2026
- Expected graduation date of November 2026 or later
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following:
- Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Transmission Lines, Printed Circuit Board design and layout, board level circuit design, analog and digital circuit design, MOSFETs, Hardware Design
- Programming skills in Python, Verilog, VHDL
