Responsibilities
- Partner with external suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure robust product and process quality, in line with company standards, customer expectations, and applicable industry requirements, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality and reliability issues, including issue containment, root cause analysis, definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions, and global fan-out of solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Review and analyze non-conforming materials, process deviations, and abnormality holds; assess associated risks and provide timely disposition recommendations through active participation in Material Review Boards (MRB).
- Drive structured supplier gap assessments, lessons-learned sharing, and benchmarking activities across the supply base; plan and conduct periodic on-site or virtual supplier audits to evaluate quality systems, process controls, and overall effectiveness.
- Support and coordinate continuous improvement, defect reduction, and cost reduction initiatives by working closely with suppliers, supplier management, test engineering, and quality engineering teams, including change management, product qualifications, and ongoing reliability/quality monitoring.
- Provide leadership in meeting supplier quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets; contribute to maintaining the organization's quality and environmental management system certifications as well as corporate social responsibility commitments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Solid understanding of quality management systems, quality tools and methodologies, statistical data analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong knowledge of environmental management systems, including aspectimpact assessments and related operational controls.
- Good understanding of semiconductor technologies and high-volume manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with structured problem-solving and root cause analysis tools, such as fault tree analysis, 3x5 Why, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Familiarity with integrated circuit (IC) technologies, including System-in-Package (SiP) and module products, and with relevant qualification standards such as JEDEC and AEC-Q100.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external partners.
