Job Description

Rishworth Aviation is supporting our client, a global leader in aerospace distribution and supply‑chain solutions, in the recruitment of a Strategic Account Manager based in Singapore.

This role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key customers across an assigned territory. You will act as the face of the organisation, driving long‑term partnerships, strengthening customer loyalty, and delivering sustainable, profitable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers within the assigned region
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities
  • Understand customer needs and deliver tailored, value‑driven solutions
  • Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and regional visits
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and CRM data

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aerospace, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven B2B sales experience, including opportunity development from scratch
  • 5–7 years experience in sales or business development, ideally within the aerospace sector
  • Understanding of the aerospace industry; familiarity with commercial or military aircraft parts is advantageous
  • Strong presentation, persuasion, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and internet‑based applications
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects and manage time effectively
  • Full proficiency in spoken and written English; additional Asian languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region
  • Position is based in Singapore
