Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Strategic Account Manager, where you will foster key client relationships that drive long-term success. Utilize your sales expertise to identify opportunities and deliver exceptional value to your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to craft and implement strategic plans for key accounts. Drive new business development through research, qualification, engagement, and successful closing of clients within designated markets. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders, identifying their business needs and recommending value-driven solutions. Act as a liaison between field sales and global teams to pursue new agreements and enhance customer engagement. Manage a pipeline of opportunities, including renewals and improvement projects, at designated accounts. Provide management with updates on customer activity, opportunity status, and strategic plan advancements. Participate in solution development to effectively address customer requirements. Engage with supplier sales resources to gain support and create collaborative solutions.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or Equivalent required Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in outside sales or at least 3 years in strategic account management or sales management. Demonstrated success in maintaining and developing strategic client relationships. Strong understanding of business management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation. Proven ability to identify potential in assigned accounts and develop new opportunities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong client connections. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a high-pressure environment. Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders and projects. Willingness to travel up to 25%.
